November 23, 2007 Friends of VI National Park celebrated the opening of our new retail venture, Friends of the Park Store, with a grand opening party. Party goers mingled, sipped champagne, and perused a variety of unique and exciting products on display. Everything from sustainable home décor items to educational gifts, local crafts, t-shirts, and souvenir items. Many of the carefully chosen products are made from recycled materials and renewable resources; the concept of sustainability predominant throughout the store.
Celebrating a successful first year just after Thanksgiving 2008, store manager Karl Pytlik brought many interesting and unique items to the store. There are new treasures almost every week. Stop in and check out Friends of the Park Store.
It is also a convenient place to find out what we are up to; information is available on events, seminars and current projects, or if you would like to renew your membership, it can all be done in our new store!

The store is open from 10 am until 8 pm Monday through Saturday and from 10 am until 6 pm on Sundays during the season.
